2. Products and Services

  • Descriptions: We strive to describe our smart home products (Touch Panels, Locks, Sensors, etc.) as accurately as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content are entirely error-free.
  • Colors & Images: Actual product colors may vary slightly from the images shown on your screen due to monitor display settings.
  • Availability: All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

3. Orders and Payments

  • Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes (GST) unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment: We accept payments via [Credit/Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, etc.]. Orders will only be processed once payment is confirmed.
  • Order Cancellation: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including incorrect pricing, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Timelines: Estimated delivery times are provided for convenience only. Schlau Automation is not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services or unforeseen circumstances (Force Majeure).
  • Damaged Goods: Customers must inspect the package upon delivery. If a package appears damaged, please do not accept it or record a video while opening the package for claim purposes.

5. Installation Services

  • Site Readiness: For products requiring installation (e.g., Smart Switches, Motorized Curtains), the customer must ensure the site is ready (electrical wiring completed, Wi-Fi available, etc.) before our technicians arrive.
  • Wi-Fi Requirements: Our smart devices require a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Schlau Automation is not responsible for device malfunctions caused by poor internet connectivity or router issues at the customer’s premises.
  • Existing Wiring: We are not liable for any issues arising from pre-existing faulty electrical wiring in the customer’s home or office.

6. Warranty and Returns

  • Warranty Policy: Our products come with a manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:
    • Physical damage, water damage (unless the product is IP rated), or burnouts due to voltage fluctuation.
    • Damage caused by improper installation by third-party electricians.
  • Returns: Returns are only accepted for defective products reported within [Insert Days, e.g., 7 Days] of delivery. We do not offer returns for “change of mind.”

7. Smart Features & Third-Party Services

  • Compatibility: While our devices work with ecosystems like Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple Home, we do not control these third-party platforms. We are not liable if these platforms change their policies, software, or APIs, rendering certain features unavailable.
  • App Usage: Use of the mobile application associated with our products is subject to the app’s own End User License Agreement (EULA).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Schlau Automation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data or profit) arising from the use or inability to use our products.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jabalpur.
